Tupelo, MS, birthplace of Elvis Presley, has given birth to another extremely talented individual named Joe Lee McCoy. This singer/songwriter has quickly become recognized for his passionate live performance and image-laden songwriting ability. Recently, he was featured in Mike Jones' "American Dream" singing "Fantasia", a beautiful love song recorded over the acoustic guitar melodies that characterize his sound. McCoy also co-wrote the musical "Air Imagination" with spoken word poet Roshanda "2 Die 4" Johnson which premiered at the historic Ensemble Theatre in downtown Houston. His single "Natural" is gaining momentum on the soul music scene and is the title track to his debut album available in stores and on itunes.
